SNAP TO BLACK work with the latest technology and most up to date software to support every element of our design work. We have the latest software for audio and video design as well as the latest versions of Computer Aided Design software. Our design team use visualising software to give our clients an actual insight into the scale of their production or event, from enabling them to see early concepts and ideas and to choose those they would like to develop further, to seeing the finished design before it’s produced. At SNAP TO BLACK we also believe in supporting the use of technology with traditional design methods, so our clients can get a rounded feel for our designs. Once the final design concept has been agreed, a scale model will be produced for the client to authorise, before handing over to our builders.

Further to this, using the latest WYSIWYG software, our lighting designers can present on our computer screen how the client’s cast and set will be lit. This software allows the designers and directors to see lighting states and to agree on styles and colours prior to arriving at the theatre, making the overall process run smoothly.
